10. The Fresh Prince of Bel Air
Confession: I sometimes wake up early on Saturday mornings just to watch Will swagger around in his colorful hats and Carlton prance around with his goofy sweater vests on the TBS re-runs of this show. I know, pathetic. But the truth is, I really really wish this show would come out with some new episodes. Even though the latest episode aired in like, 1996.
This show made me rethink the phrase “yada yada yada”. Not that there’s anything wrong with that.
8. The Mighty B
I am a sucker for cartoons. And Amy Poehler. I was hooked on this show from the moment Bessie Higgenbottom pronounced the word “Honeybee” with her hilarious lisp. Even though this show was tragically short-lived, it gave me a new appreciation for girl scouts and the city of San Francisco.
7. Larry King Live
I just think that it’s necessary to have one news anchor that wants to be frozen after they die, but maybe that’s just my opinion.
6. The Amanda Show
Okay, so I think that pretty much anyone who grew up in the 90′s can agree that this is the greatest kids show to ever air on Nickelodeon. Other than Spongebob, of course. I can go on and on for hours about how Debbie and her obsession with eggs can make me laugh so hard I start to cry, how Moody’s Point is far superior to Dawson’s Creek (sorry Katy Holmes, but I really don’t think that there’s anything more interesting than having your mother stuck in a hot air balloon), how Josh Peck was adorable when he was fat and Drake Bell was waaay cooler when he was really skinny, and other reasons why Netflix should provide me with all the seasons of this ridiculous and wonderful show (curse you Netflix and your lack of online streaming avialability)
